Does getting a tattoo on your upper back hurt?

Nope! I just got one there on Saturday. It felt like taking a safety pin ad dragging across your skin with little pressure. I give it a 1/2 out of 10. Totally bearable. And afterwards it feels like a sunburn. If you're scared of the pain you can take two Tylenol before hand, just don't take anything else cause pills like Advil will make you bleed more. Also make sure you eat before hand and have a sugary drink ready to have during the tattoo if you need it because it will keep you from getting lightheaded

You'll be fine. Drink lots of water before and just relax. It'll feel like something poking a sunburn. I thought it'd be way worse.

Depends on who you ask. I tbought my upper back tattoo hurt, but it wasn't terrible. I felt most of the pain in my elbows though, from hitting the different nerves in my back. My elbows hurt more than my back did when I was done.

lol tattoos dont hurt that bad man, and im a skinny *** kid also i got 5 tats and they are huge! lol take it like a champ and sit there. honeslty itll sting a lil but you get used to it and its bearable. it just depends on your pain tolorance and if it hurts you or not. but real talk it probaly wont be as bad as you think it is
