Unfair reporting on Islamic and Domestic Terrorism?
Why is it that whenever Muslims are responsible, people scream ALL Muslims are terrorist, invade this place invade that, discrimination (just look at the Sikh temple shooter)
But when the *terrorism* is domestic, it does not reflect upon any group of people and it is just *mental illness* and deemed more as extremist action than terrorism. And of course, little is done to solve this mess.
Don't people understand that 95% of Muslims are not bad people and it is just those crazies, which ALL countries and ALL political ideologies and ALL religions have that are responsible.

"domestic" terrorist act on their own. They don't belong to a larger organization who trained them, supplied the materials, etc. Also, you don't see US citizens celebrating in the streets when a domestic terrorist strikes.
When a "muslim" terrorist acts it is usually in the name of a larger group, like al quada. This larger group is a LARGE organization known for regularly recruiting around the world. Many muslim countries openly allow these terrorist groups to stay and train in them. Also, when a target of the "muslim" terrorist is hit, these same nations throw celebrations.
You see you have to say "95% of muslims aren't bad", implying that 5% of the muslim world DOES support terrorist activites against the west. Concidering muslims are nearlly 1 billion people...that leaves 50 million muslims that think terrorism against the west is OK. I can say that 99.9% of US citizens aren't going to endorse blowing up large groups of civilians, and those that do think its OK are probably already in jail, because the USA doesn't allow known terrorist groups to recruit and train people to blow up civilians.

You are right, of course. The people who rant and rave about Islam have in all probably never met a Muslim and almost certainly don't have any Muslims in their circle of friends. The media doesn't help, especially the 'red banner' press.
They have probably never seen a Qur'an let alone read any of it.
Many of my friends are Muslims and some are practising Muslims who pray five times a day and regularly go to the 'Mosque' or Islamic cultural centre as the locals here prefer to call them.
On the other hand there are fanatical people of all religions around and that includes that loving, caring, forgiving, religion - Christianity.
