    1. 12 tribes are listed in Revelation 7

    2. Dan is omitted in Revelation 7

    3. The tribe of Joseph is listed. He was represented in in Numbers by one of his two sons: Ephraim

    4. Manasea (altho Joseph's son) He is still represented in Rev 7.

    5. The tribe of Levi is listed in Rev 7..... to make room for Levi without increasing the number of tribes, Dan is excluded in Revelation 7, but apparently not because of any unsuitability on Dan’s part. The inclusion of Levi would serve to show that there is no special priestly tribe in spiritual Israel, the entire spiritual nation being “a royal priesthood.”—1Pe 2:9.

    6. I can not find another name Ephraim was known by other than Samaria. Samaria was it's capital and the names came to interchangeable.

Although some think it's a scribal error Dan is omitted. Simeon, a tribe that had since been scattered throughout the other tribes (as prophesied) is included with Joseph included.

I don't believe the 144k is literal, nor are the tribal designations. It just implies a complete (12,000 from each of the 12 tribes) account of "first fruits" martyrs of the 1st century persecution.

Source(s): I hold a preterist view to Matt 24 and the Book of Revelation.

Brother, you're over complicating issues. The Bible is actuality. Why do you think of YHWH is someway apart from those tribes? The observe says YHWH desires that none could desire to perish and that He needs all to return to salvation. yet people have loose will. according to possibility, on the time of the top, there'll merely be no one from the tribe of Dan and Ephraim that elect to stay with Yeshua. or according to possibility there will be some catastrophe and there will be no residing survivors from those tribes on the time of the marking. basic as that. Yah loves you.
