Fruits/veggies going bad very quickly, any advice?

I had a bag of tangelos and another bag of onions (separated) that molded in like under 2 weeks.

Fruits and veggies need to be stored in different areas of your kitchen. Some will survive on the counter while others will will do better in the fridge.

Bananas and apples need to be stored away from other fruits and veggies due to the Ethylene gas they release naturally.

Onions should be kept in a cool dry place, like a cupboard or pantry, not the refrigerator.

At this time of year, keep the tangelos in a produce compartment of your refrigerator.

Just throw them out and next time keep them refrigerated.
