Do you treat others as you would like to be treated?

Sometimes. I definitely try to, but I slip up... Like when I am mad, or aggravated. This is a good question. It reminds me I need to fix this issue a little more in my life, thanks for asking!

Not going to lie.sometime no I don't treat people as I would like to be treated. Half the time they give me no reason to treat them with respect and be nice and polite. I feel a person has to earn respect. When I first am being around people or first meeting a person, I will be respectful, polite and nice but once they give me a reason on why not to treat them that way then it's a 180 and you see a she- devil come out. But I would not disrespect a person or not be polite or nice to them until they give me a reason. I am not going to treat someone all good when their treating me like dirt.

My psychology professor (who has about 40 years experience) says, "Don't treat people like you want to be treated. Treat people how THEY would like to be treated, since someone might not like to be treated as you may." His example went something like, "an out going touchy-feely person who likes to be the center of attention would like different treatment than someone quiet, reserved, and whom dislikes physical affection."

I really try to... we are all humans and make mistakes but as long as we recognize the mistakes and try not to do them again shows that we didn't mean to do the mistakes in the first place.

I often do but we all fail sometimes. I am usually nice until they get mean to me. Then I have to stop myself from sinking to their level. But I am pretty good these days about controlling my temper.
