In one of my other posts I asked why you think a child's life is more valuable than an adult's..?

The majority of you say that a child's life is more valuable. If the majority say a child's life is more valuable, then why do we allow abortion?

Here is my related post:

Update:

Commandment #6

"You shall not murder."

Update 2:

Murder - "The unlawful killing of one human by another."

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/murder

Even though we have laws enacted in The United States allowing murder, it is against God's will. A life is still a life. Correct?

A child's life is more important as a child has not yet lived and had the chance to fully experience all that an adult has. A child has also not committed any sins unlike an adult who commits sin basically every day in thought, vision, doing and so on.

I am against abortion just as you are. Two people choose to have sex, then they are choosing to take that responsibility of possibly ending up pregnant. If they end up pregnant, too bad, God has blessed you with something that some people can not even have and wish to have, now own up for your actions and take responsibility. Abortion is just another way of not taking responsibility for your actions.

I see abortion as a legitimate choice, ONLY WHEN the child is a product of rape (then in that case, I don't believe in tormenting the victim by forcing her to bare the child), and when the woman's life is in true danger if she gives birth to the child (I believe most in this world would choose to save their life before others and you should be given the choice of choosing life and death and not forced to die because we are not God).

Finance is a lame excuse to have an abortion because there are adoption services and things like open adoptions where you can actually meet the people who really do want a child and give the child to them. Foster homes are also there, I know plenty of people who came from foster homes and now go to college and have a full life ahead of themselves. It's just unnecessary murder. It's ridiculous the things people try to claim.

the childs life has more potential but thats all

if i were asked to choose life or death between someone doing good in the world at 35 and some kid playing nintendo when he should be studying, i have to give the advantage to the person doing ACTUAL good.

potential can turn into something but it has no intrinsic value. right now he's just a mouth to feed

by extension an unplanned child can ruin 2 or more lives including its own by simply coming at the wrong time. whose fault is that ? the parents of course but why punish an innocent child by forcing it to be born into a world that doesnt want it?

Jesus said do not DIVORCE. but i dont see many Christians rallying divorce courts

and so many christians have killed others by blowing up abortion clinics how moral is that?

I am against abortion but sometimes people have no choice esp when they are young and did not take precaution.Any 20 year old couple will never want to have kid.So they might choose abortion.

Child life is more important..but if its still unborn then no one will care much. Also an adult can have many children later on.Married people who have abortion are ofcourse..idiots.
