I have no issue with someone's skin colour, hell, my half-brother is of Spanish decent and I love him to bits.

I do not have an issue with someone's religious beliefs, so long as I don't get yelled at or secluded when I state what mine is.

I judge people by how they treat other people and how they react during a conversation. Usually takes me an hour or two of talking to know my comfort level with a person and it doesn't usually shift from that point.

I judge people by who they are I live in Africa so it would be a moot point for me to assess them by the colour of their skin or their religious beliefs. Their choices are wide and varied and they are generally good people. I also judge a person by my gut feeling have yet to be wrong.

The judging comes from a subconscious Instinct to keep the "pack" safe from intruders. Anyone not "normal" to you gets judged in your human brain―deal with it.

Initial judgement has to be quick to asses threats, so your brain will match ethnicity/clothing/hairstyle/smell to your memory's most probable match up from your past experiences. If you have few or none―you're ignorant of what to expect. So, judging people is a healthy natural instinct for all humans. We are just animals. Different breeds of the same damn species―but like dogs―we aren't exactly the same. Yes each individual is different and a dogs environment can dictate how it turns out, but there are still breed distinctions. Each breed, like humans have evolved from their native habitat and are perfectly suited for it. Dogs like us can adapt to a large degree to new climate zones though. To say all humans are equal in general is only a half truth. To say all humans are unique is only a half truth.

I judge people by the informed intent of their actions and their honesty.

If you for example believe that the Earth was created 6,000 years ago and that evolution is false, yet you don't deceptively try to bypass the scientific community OKing it before trying to legislate it being taught in schools, then I have nothing bad to say about you.
