Why is there so much hatred toward Gwyneth Paltrow?

I love this girl and don;t care for those idiots who show hatred. There's enough hatred in the world and to show it against a woman who looks great is simply jealousy.

Jealousy probably. As you say, she's beautiful and a great actor. Two things that you can only get with very good luck. And to have done well enough to make millions, as the other commenter has mentioned. Well that's just the icing on the cake. But really, it's just petty to hate someone for having such a wonderful life, especially when she seems so kind. Really people should be happy that someone's been lucky enough to make it. I guess that's the downside to her wonderful life. She's a good person that's managed to be successful in such a hateful world. And it's also the answer to your question. Hollywood is just hateful and petty.

It's stunning to me how ppl jump to such extreme conclusions because others don't 100% agree. As the old saying goes....those who assume the most, understand the least.

It's not that I HATE Gwen, I don't even know her personally. I don't even care for the most part. I even think she can be fun and witty in interviews. What annoys me is the fact that she's extremely wealthy through family connections and job opportunities in Hollywood, yet she is portrayed as a Princess and special and is described as the most beautiful women in the world, while remaining average in appearances at best, while sporting the best make-up, hair and facial treatments money can afford, she still looks plan and somewhat average to me...yes, she does come off a little superficial, slutty, self-absorbed, and ego centric like most people in Hollywood. She's not known for getting her hands dirty and helping starving children or inspiring the world through great and nobel words. I've never heard her sing a song with any soul (yet she's on stag singing at awards shows?) She's a girl in the world like the rest of us. So WTF are we calling her a princess for? Or the most beautiful or whatever, It the real world.she doesn't matter more than anybody else..it's just Hollywood bullshit.

seems like a lot of it comes from her website where she gives advice for life management that only help if you are also a millionaire.... so people perceive her as being out of touch.
