Mountain Height (math)?
How do you find the height of a mountain WITHOUT a mirror, using just shadows and knowing the distance from where you are to where the mountain is?

Knowing the distance to the mountain is irrelevant. The shadows are the clue. If I know the length of the shadow I cast and the length of the shadow the mountain you can set up similar triangles. Set up the ration of Ht1 / Ht2 = shadow1 / shadow2
