Where did Noah get all the timber required to build his ark?

If memory serves me correctly, he was a desert man, not a lumberjack.

That's not the only question about that story.

The story of Noah and the Ark is a biblical myth. It is not a record of a past event.

Well, maybe that area is only a desert now because Noah used all the trees.

Family men back then, became whatever the family needed them to be. No doubt where he settled there was easy access to water and trees and area for crops. If there could have been a tree shortage, then God would have made sure they were available to Noah and family.

    Cypress is a softwood.

    Only an idiot would build

a boat out of cypress wood,

    much less an imaginary ark..

Noah's arc is the biggest myth in the bible. Also, how did one vessel as big a 4 football fields hold all the worlds animals. And why did the sea water not kill off the plant life and destroy the food chain.

Trees. It took a long time to build the ark and they lived for centuries back then.

He cleared out a couple of hundred acres of South American rain forest.

    No biggie.
