why this is rather meticulous for some people ?

I met a guy 6 months ago and it still feels like yesterday when he dropped into the bar, plan swooped me off my feet and had me falling in love in 2 days :) Has this happened to any of you ? Although its frowned upon by most, I think falling in love doesn't take the time into factor.. it does take what the person is made up of.. well but it didn't last for many reasons that I can't understand. He is readable :) like easily... and he hates it when I do that and he likes me for that ... what I can see in his face and eyes is totally different from what this guy told me from his mouth - his eyes say, I totally like you, I've been looking for you, wow. But he says you don't know me.. then says how do you find these things ? then says you don't speak my native language and that it will never work...

well, to say the very least, life has twists that are really curvy ! now he is getting married to someone his mom picked out and has been training himself to like her and now loves her :)

I know this is cruel of me to ask.. but please share some terrible stories so my story could look less terrible
