Which one, Iphone or HTC?

Don't know why people assume HTC is a phone. They make several phones. So it depends on which iPhone & which HTC phone you are comparing.

HTC really depends on the model you get, which is also dependent on the carrier you use. Many people assume the opposite, but HTC phones are incredibly good, but are bogged down by a really bad battery, and overly confusing interface, but once you understand them, they are amazing.

The iphone 5 is the most responsive phone on the market. People will flare hardware specs at you, but the simple and intuitive OS allows the iphone to pack less heat, produce a bigger result and use less battery. However, its really up to you. However, IMO HTC phones arent really worth getting on android, and Windows is due out for an update to their phone lineup.

HTC probably the best, depends on what you want from your phone, with Apple announcing a profit loss for the first time even after the introduction of the Ipad mini you know the game is up for them and Android is the way forward.

Why no Galaxy S3 or S4, it's a better phone than either of these.

Iphone has the best security by far of any smartphone (because all code gets reviewed first before it can get into the appstore). To me thats the most important thing with a phone, no need to run antivirus or worry about what you are installing on it. The design is also better.

What Type Of HTC Phone, And What Type Of iPhone ?

I go for Iphone! :) HTC is a bit slow when you compare to iphone
