Question about printers.?
My HP Photosmart C4280 has stopped working because of a water damage. A new one would set me back £179:00 which is too much for what I want. I know nothing about these things really other that I just want it to print, copy and perhaps scan but that's not important. I want a printer that's reasonably cheap, simple to install, aligns itself and only needs two cartridges, black and tricolour.The one before my last I could not get to print straight. I'm a bit old in the tooth for this kind of thing so any help from someone who knows and can point me in the right direction, would be much appreciated.

Try looking for second hand models.

I would not buy a color printer,. Look for a fax with copying and scanning features. Any color printing I would transfer it to a thumb drive and take it to a print shop. if they get to know you you can email them the pics than just go by and pick them up when they are ready.
