3.8 2000 buick crankshaft center bolt which way to turn to take off?

    It is a standard bolt," righty tighty lefty loosy" Clockwise to tighten, counter clockwise to remove.

    If you are referring to the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer, it turn counter clockwise and you probably cannot loosen it by hand.

    Opposite engine rotation.
