When to stop using wart remover??

I have two warts, I bought Dr. Scholls 40% saliycic acid wart remover. I've been using it for a week, my skin turned white on both. The one on my hand, I took the band-aide off this morning to see if it was gone yet, well, the wart fell off along with the skin over the surrounding area of my finger..... Then there was a little white flat doughnut shaped area with a brown thing int he center. I squeezed the brown thing out, trying to see what it was, and then it bled. I left the band aide off for a few hours and the white part when away. Now I have less skin and a scab on my finger, my question is. What do I do now? Is the wart gone?

My other wart, on the bottom of my foot, I can see a little brown dot in the middle of the wart, it's flat now, and the rest is white. Is what happened to my finger what is supposed to happen? Should I keep treating this one until the skin falls off and it bleeds?

The brown one was the root of the wart, and you got it out in total. I would try to do the same on your foot, maybe it won't bleed when you got the brown spot out, but if so, than do just the same as you did on your finger and than the warts should be gone. Don't use the wart remover any longer, just keep it if new warts appear somewhere..

No do not use this on or near the eye. Anyway a wart is not the same thing as a mole. Dr Schols products are mostly for the feet and maybe the hands. I am sure she is better off with the tiny mole rather than being blind in the eye. This product does a chemical burn to remove the wart. It is not something for a childs eye!!!
