How is Christ's crucifixion a sacrifice?

If he was resurrected days later, how is his "death" a sacrifice?

The whole story, probably made up by Paul, was an attempt by Paul to win and influence new converts in far away lands. Folks in those far away lands would not have paid much attention to a silly wild eyed kid doing ministry in some place called Jerusalem. They were used to big and grand Gods raising hell all of the time. Paul, the intelligent evangelical salesman, realized, rightly so, that he would have to do a little embellishing of this Jesus. Ergo, miracles, rising from the dead and on and on. It worked, obviously. As for the "sacrifice" angle, in them days, it was common practice to sacrifice various things to the Gods in an effort to appease the Gods anger. What better, an amazing story about the ultimate sacrifice, a human. I'm quite sure I would not have cared to keep company with this Paul fellow. He was just into making way too much story for my liking. If, indeed, Jesus was actually a living human being, and if the story about him raising hell with the money changers is true, I think he and I would have gotten into a whole lot of trouble with the Pharisee's.

The crucifixion of Christ became a real sacrifice to God the father. interior the early cases, formerly Christ, the Jewish human beings could sacrifice animals to God for the remission of their sins. yet their movements did no longer satisfied God. So, God the father sent His Son, Jesus Christ to Sacrifice himself for the remission of all mankind's sins. Jesus Christ, knew what He had to do and He did it for the desire of God the father. that's the recent eternal Convent for many, in this Earth. The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to God the father, is completed on the Holy Mass; on a daily basis with the aid of the international.

    here's a better question

If your First Born and Only Son was Murdered would you consider the Weapon that Killed him Sacred?

The cross was used to Murder Jesus, so was the "Spear of Destiny" the spear they stabbed Him with.

I have never been able to figure out why religions consider these thing special or sacred.

wearing a cross is almost like wearing a mini replica of a gun used in one of those school shootings because you need to remember the tragedy in order to STAY focusED on creating safer schools.

Because he sacrificed Judas' life just so scripture could be fulfilled.

Jesus knew he had to die so he didn't have to ruin Judas' life to do it. Beats me why he had to involve Judas in his death at all. Besides is kissing Jesus to single him out any worse than flatly denying all knowledge of Jesus 3 times (as Peter did)?

There's an enormous amount of arrogance in your question. Why should the Creator of the entire universe care at all about us? Why should He offer us eternal life at all? Why should He offer to transform us into His sons and daughters?

God has a human complex. He gave up the one thing he coveted most so he could go back to being judge, jury, and executioner of the universe.
