How to redeem ContinentalAirlines OnePass miles?
I have 41, 898 miles on my old Continental Airlines OnePass account. The last time I flew was in 2005. I still have the letter from back then telling me my account number and stuff. When looking up the website I found that since the merge of airlines, OnePass no longer exists apparently. I tried signing up for MileagePlus using the OnePass account number and it didn't work. Anybody have a similar problem or know what I can do to redeem my miles and if it's even possible?

You can log in to united.com using your OnePass account number and password. If you never logged on to the Continental website, then use your OnePass account to create a profile at the United website. Check you balance there.
If your miles have expired, then they can be reinstated. Looks like the fee would be $100 for you.

To my knowledge, most American airline's miles will expire after 1 or 2 years of inactivity (except Delta). It's been 8 years. There might be a possibility that they may reopen your account for a fee. But anyways, One Pass is now United Airlines Mileage Plus.

It seems to me that the obvious answer would be to call United and ask them. They must have put rules in place to deal with Continental frequent flyer miles.

if you had a profile on continental, you can use the same login information for united. Highly doubt the miles are still there there though since there was no activity on the account.
