Says im not pregnant and had protected sex...?

....I have missed about two periods.Never happened before.I'd like to know what people think about the reliability of home pregnancy tests.I am waiting on a blood test from doc.I do also have something going on with my cortisol levels, don't know if that can effect it in any way.While am 41 think too early for menopause?.thanks.

    A pregnancy test would be pretty darned reliable after two missed periods. If this was open for betting, I'd bet your blood test will be negative as well.

    It's not too early for menopause to start. I was skipping periods regularly at 41, and then I was skipping two, three, and four in a row. My last 3 periods were nine months apart. And I was completely done at 47.

    Home tests, while not perfect, are extremely accurate.

    And if you aren't having an pregnancy symptoms, and haven't had unprotected sex, I'd say 99% certain you are NOT pregnant.

    While 41 is young for menopause, you can certainly be perimenopausal, which means your periods may start to become less regular.
