Alright so here are just some of the features that the samsung galaxy s4 can do.
Eye scrolling - detects your eyes and where you are reading on a page and automatically scrolling up and down for you
Swipe to screen shot
Voice comands- in the picture setting say "cheese" to take a photo instead of pressing just a button.
- Saying "Snooze" when your alarm goes off to rest a while and "off" in the mornings to turn it completely off without looking at your phone.
Smart pause- once again detects your eyes and pauses a video when you look away
Tons of text bubble colour changes
Palm swipe- While the phone is locked, move your hand over the phone in a palm swipe motion in which it will tell you the time, date, and if you have any sort of messages if your hands are occupied or dirty for eating some nice chicken wings
LED lights- LED lights will flicker similar to a blackberry but different colours are set depending on the type of message (white email, green text)
Hover- Allows you to preview a page or photo without actually going into the album or clicking on it
Email - Allows you to attach pretty much anything as you would on a computer where as iPhone limits to just pictures
Instant call- while texting a person, hold the phone up to your ear and it will instantly begin to call them.
Drive mode- while driving it will read you a text message or email that you received
- allows you to take a photo of yourself with the front facing camera and insert it into the photo you are taking with the back camera. Example would be if you are taking a picture of someone standing next to a landmark and you want to be in it too, use that feature to have yourself be apart of the photo in a little box at the top.
Theres the drama mode that allows you to take a picture of someone moving and then merges the shots together into one photo. So someone who is doing a skate trick up the ramp and then doing a flip, will take a picture of all those movements and give you one photo of all those movements.
Photobomb be gone- You know that annoying person that likes to creep in your photos? Theres a feature that detects movement and will immediately erases anyone who moves in suddenly while taking a photo
Honestly this is all I can remember right now. It will take you a long time to figure out all of the features on that phone because it is just jam packed. Surprisingly, Samsung has managed to eliminate all lag with these features and sort out any bugs that were in the S3 that iPhone still needs to tweak with their laggy and unresponsive iPhone 5

There are two types of differences on the Galaxy.
First it's got Android, and Android does have more capabilities than iOS (the iPhone operating system). For instance, Android supports widgets which are small apps that can run together at the same time on the home screen. Android also lets you customize the look & feel much more than iPhone does (on iPhone you have to jailbreak and void the warranty to do that).
Second the Galaxy has a lot of cool extra hardware features, such as eye scrolling (where it scrolls depending on where you look), and eye tracking (where it keeps the screen turned on as long as you're looking at it), and air gestures where you can control it without even touching the screen. But those features also do use up more battery, but you can turn them off in settings.

Android will always beat iPhone. Bigger screen, faster processor, better app intergration, 1080p (HD). Basically, the iPhone 5 is a joke and a waste of monry compared to the phones on the market today, i sold my iphone 5 for a much cheaper nexus 4 and it was a brilliant choice, android is just the way to go.

Most of the 'more' is just fluff things that either don't work very well or don't matter in the real world.
What matters is what your phone will be at the end of your contract. In the case of Samsung, it will be a laggy, glitchy, broken, and unsupported piece of junk you won't be able to even give away. In the case of the iPhone, it will work as good or better than the day you got it and you will be able to sell it quickly for a good price.

I-phone is kind of like buying a ready-made meal from the frozen food aisle. Everything you need is there, but it will only taste good, not excellent AND you have no control over the seasonings or the flavor. The upside is it is very easy to prepare.
Galaxy (android) is kind of like buying all the foods seperately and pulling them together to make a big meal. You get to choose how you prepare it AND it ultimately tastes a whole lot better. The catch is you have to work harder for it.

It's almost the same, if you wanna try something new go for Samsung, and it's quite in right now. It has a bigger screen, GPS system, more given apps and special Android apps like Chat, Dropbox and stuff.
