Blame Genesis. Genesis says nothing about there being other religions, therefore Christian logic assumes there were no other religions.

Why do christians no nothing about the history of their religion?

Often that is the line of thinking for any religious persons who have read only one scripture (their own) before they have read other religions' scriptures. All those persons need is to be open to other new ideas and read widely.

The word Christian isn't a religion, the mean means ''in relationship with God'' and this came about in the new testament when God said we are now his Christians because we are in relationship with God.

Religion is belief, knowing, faith! so the original religion was just Believing in >God<

Evolution is a religion too because its based of believe of our origins.
