Feeling lost without my friends?

I've always been easily affected by my peers and only recently I've realised it. Whenever I'm around my friends, I feel like they're family, like they're the closest people I have. With them, I feel content and safe, like nothing could ever go wrong. But when we part our ways after a long day, I feel empty, like all the joy in my life has been taken along with my friends' departure. I feel lost, without a sense of direction, and then I feel as if I have no purpose in life. I know its extreme, but that's really how I feel when I am with and without my friends.

I'm not looking for a solution, just someone who can empathize with me...

  • I think you just lack confidence and you should work on developing it somehow. I'm sorry I cannot be of much help to you but I never felt the way you feel: friends are just people to me and my life goes on happily with or without them.

I understand what you are going threw, after a good day being lonely again, try finding other times when you are happy eg. Being happy spending time with members of your family or other activities you are happy doing.

Seems like you become emotionally attached easily, isn't something you can easily control but know that it is all just in ur head.
