The lock/power button on my iPhone is broken, I heard there's an app I can use to lock it...?

I can't lock my phone at all, and it's getting to be a real pain. Is there an app or something I can use to lock my phone until I get it fixed?

Not being able to lock my phone is draining the battery and just annoying. I can't turn it off either.

    go to settings>general>accessibility>assistive touch (turn it on)

    then you should get a black button with white circle in it and you can use that to lock your phone
