  • Assume that you have a sample of acetic acid (pKa=4.75) dissolved in water?

So I've used 3 attempts and I only have one left on this. Here's the 3 parts to the question:

    Part A

Draw the structure of the major species present in the water solution.

    Part B

Now assume that aqueous HCl is added to the acetic acid solution until pH2 is reached. Draw the structure of the major species present.

    Part C

Finally, assume that aqueous NaOH is added to the acetic acid solution until pH12 is reached. Draw the structure of the major species present.

  • Physics problem involving a penguin sled on a slope: Find the force required to stop it from sliding?

    Here s the problem:

A loaded penguin sled weighing 80 N rests on a plane inclined at angle θ = 17° to the horizontal (see the figure). Between the sled and the plane, the coefficient of static friction is 0.27, and the coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.15. (a) What is the minimum magnitude of the force F , parallel to the plane, that will prevent the sled from slipping down the plane? (b) What is the minimum magnitude F that will start the sled moving up the plane? (c) What value of F is required to move the sled up the plane at constant velocity?

Here s the last answers I got:

    a) 251N

    b) 274N

    c) 80.9N

But those are wrong. I ve tried this problem twice and I only have two attempts left. Can someone at least point me in the right direction on how to do it?

    Physics 107 Homework help (velocity)?

A model rocket fired vertically from the ground ascends with a constant vertical acceleration of 49.0 m/s2 for 1.21 s. Its fuel is then exhausted, so it continues upward as a free-fall particle and then falls back down. (a) What is the maximum altitude reached? (b) What is the total time elapsed from takeoff until the rocket strikes the ground?

I tried this question and according to WileyPlus, the website the homework is on, it's incorrect. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to solve it?

The picture I attached is the work I did trying to solve the problem.

  • What's considered a formal "date"?

So, I recently found out that my boyfriend's mom somewhat disapproves of our relationship because he doesn't take me on dates. But, I just realized, I don't really know what would be considered a formal date.

As of now, we mostly just hang out at each others' homes and play games. We go to the local gaming conventions together and sometimes the arcade. We also go to some of each others' school club meetings.

I'm not sure what else there's to do that'd we'd both enjoy and can afford.

  • Do you think it's safe to monetize my youtube videos?

So I know that you can't monetize videos that aren't 100% original. I upload footage from conventions, and a small few of my videos have copyrighted music playing in the background that was somehow detected. Is it still a good idea to enable monetization? Can I just turn it off for those videos individually?

  • What's a good holiday craft for kids (almost 100 of them)?

My mom and I are planning a Girl Scout Christmas event, where the girls make crafts to give as gifts for Christmas. We have 99 girls who are supposed to come to this, age 5-15. It can be Christmas themed or generic winter themed. Since there's so many girls coming, we need something that'll cost a dollar or less for each girl.

  • Do you think I'll get into college with these grades?

I'm going for industrial engineering at a state college. I have a GPA of 93%, SAT score of 1860 (1250 without writing), and an ACT score of 30. I think my math/science section were only a 26 or 27 though. It's the only (not crazy expensive) college in the area that offers Industrial Engineering as a major, so I feel like they'd get a lot of people applying. The college itself has a 56% acceptance rate.

  • what's a good game to play with little girls?

  • What should I do with my youtube channel? (Video ideas)?

So I've somehow accumulated over 2,500 subscribers since I started my youtube channel. I only have about 10 videos, and they're all really simple AMVs, mostly with My Little Pony. I aslo have a few convention videos. But I haven't posted a video in about a year, and I'm also no longer interested in making those simple music videos. SO what should I do now? I don't want those 2,000+ subscribers to go to waste.

  • Was the internet widely used in the early to mid 1980's?

I have to make a short movie for my history class that takes place in the 1980's. I know the internet existed, but was it used by common people for research, communication, or recreation? I want there to be a part in the video where the main character uses the internet to look something up, but I'm not sure if it'd fit.

  • Is my gameboy color broken?

I bought one from the flea market today, along with a cheap monopoly game for the gameboy (not specifically a gbc game). When I turned it on, the Gameboy logo did its thing in full color, and then the screen was just stuck like that. the "copyright nintendo" at the bottom is usually just a black box instead of what it should be. Nothing happens after the logo comes up and it just stays there. I've tried 4 different pairs of batteries and reset it at least 10 times. I tried blowing on the cartridge and the slot. At this point, I don't own any other games to try in it. I don't know if it's the console or the game.

Also, when I bought it, the switch was "on", but it was dead.

  • How can I make my eyelashes grow back faster?

I know this question has been asked so many times, but all the answers usually involve putting products on the eyelashes. Thing is, I only have about 6 on each eyelid, and none are full length. They used to be full and long, but after dealing with some stress, I got into a habit of constantly pulling them out until there were none left. I've had some grow back within a couple weeks, but I couldn't stop myself from pulling them out. Is it possible to get them all back by mid march (2 months from now)? Because I really need my face to look normal for a contest I'm entering. I look strange without them.

And, like I said, it can't be anything involving putting stuff on eyelashes because I have close to none.

  • How can I reject someone without hurting their feelings?

So 4 people like me. 2 I'm definitely saying no to, and the others I'm not sure. I don't know how to choose yet, but I don't know how to say no to the other. This girl is one of my best friends, and I don't want to have to tell her no because I do like her...but what if I choose the other (a guy)?

  • How do I confront my french teacher about using masculine words (I'm physically a girl)?

Backstory (TL;DR) (you don't need to read this part):

So I've been having problems with gender for years. I'm not entirely sure what I am, but I definitely don't feel like a cisgender female. There's so many different labels for gender identities besides male and female, right now I'm just disregarding the idea of gender completely.

I'm having a hard time figuring it out, partially due to outside influences, and trying to fit the role of a female isn't helping. I don't feel a part of the role of a female in society or the role a female plays in nature. I've always had thoughts of how I might be more comfortable with my life if I were born male. What I'm having trouble with is figuring out which label I fit under. I ask that when answering this question, you do not consider that I'm "confused" or something, but rather just provide some advice for the situation. I don't think it matters if I don't have a label yet, it just matters if I want to do something that makes me more comfortable.

    Main question:

So I feel more comfortable with gender neutral things and sometimes male things. In French, a female would use feminine verbs and adjectives by adding an extra "e", while the masculine words have nothing added. I feel better using the slightly more generic masculine words, and using feminine just doesn't feel perfect. So I decided that this year I would do myself a favor and use masculine, which I am more comfortable with. However, my French teacher has not noticed that I have made the choice to do this, and always corrects it, and writes "you're a girl" with a stick figure in a dress on my paper. I would like to tell her about the situation to avoid further corrections. However, she isn't usually the nicest person, and some say she's intolerant. My old french teacher is very supportive of LGBT, and disagrees with her on a lot of things. She was upset about her not realizing it was a choice.

So how would I go about asking her to use masculine and not be corrected? I was thinking of writing something instead of talking directly. What if she has a bad reaction?

  • The lock/power button on my iPhone is broken, I heard there's an app I can use to lock it...?

I can't lock my phone at all, and it's getting to be a real pain. Is there an app or something I can use to lock my phone until I get it fixed?

Not being able to lock my phone is draining the battery and just annoying. I can't turn it off either.
