Tebow Haters: What is it about his game that sucks?
What is it about his game that sucks? Is it his Heisman Trophy, his National Championship, or his NFL playoff win? Or is it the fact he took the Broncos farther than Payton Manning could?

It's his 47% completion percentage.. His 75 career passer rating..
He was that good in college because he's a good runner, but that type of quarterback just doesn't work in the NFL. A quarterback like RG3 or Russell Wilson who uses his legs as a weapon to compliment his arm, is great, but those guys would still be above average quarterbacks even with average speed. Tim Tebow relies too much on his legs, which worked well for him in college, but in the NFL when defenses are better, smarter and faster, it just doesn't work. The worst defense in the NFL is still better than the best defense he faced in college so being a great runner but a mediocre passer just doesn't work.

Ricky Williams won the Heisman and Craig Krenzel won a National Championship too. How did their NFL careers turn out? Ben Roethlisberger played for a team who couldn't even qualify for a college National Championship yet won two Super Bowls. What someone does in college has absolutely no bearing on how good of a professional athlete you are.
How did Tebow take Denver farther than Manning? First of all, Peyton led his team to a bye. Both quarterbacks lost in the divisional round. But Peyton's Broncos made it to double overtime. Tim could only manage to lead his team to 10 measley points. Did you just start following football in 2011 like most of the other Tebow fanatics? Denver this past year had a first round bye. Just because Peyton didn't win a playoff game, that doesn't change the fact that they both lost in the same round.
By the way, Mark Sanchez has 4 playoff wins. Is he better than Tim Tebow? Yes he is, but not solely because of how many playoff wins he has. And unlike Tim, Mark and Peyton currently have jobs, and the latter has a Super Bowl ring. The latter won on the professional level. Did Tim? Even the Jacksonville Jaguars want nothing to do with him. What say you to that? Let me guess, it's not his lack of talent but the media following he gets? That would be a predictable response.

He can't throw the ball plain and simple (at least not very well). I can't explain how he got a playoff win, nor can I explain how he even made the playoffs, but that sort of stuff doesn't normally happen for guys like Tebow. As for the National Championship, the wildcat formation works in college football, but teams can't consistently win using the wildcat formation in the NFL. Tim Tebow is a great athlete, but he can't cut it as an NFL Quarterback. He definitely has the work ethic and the leadership abilities to play in the NFL, but the only way I can see Tebow having a future in the NFL is if he stops being so stubborn and changes positions. I think he could be a great Tight End or Fullback, but definitely not a Quarterback.

Just for the record, I'm not a Tebow hater; I was one of those who strongly argued for him to start for the Jets while Sanchez was buttfumbling. But It's because his throwing isn't very good. Just because you won a Heisman and a NC trophy doesn't mean you'll be great in the NFL. Jason White won a Heisman and he wasn't even drafted.
And Peyton Manning took the Broncos as far as Tebow did in less games, just sayin

He cant throw a football. College football is way diff then the nfl. He will never be an nfl qb. His mecanics are horrible, he throwing motion is very bad. You cant even compare a future hall of famer who was won a superbowl and many playoff games to tim teblow. Teblow will never win a superbowl or ever be a starter in the nfl ever again. He got lucky with a blown coverage against the steelers. Any idiot can hit a wide open reciever. All i got from your question is your an idiot. A homer florida fan who jerks off to tim teblow. Teblow sucks your idiot

How about the career completion % of 47.9, when 60% is the mark of a mid-range NFL starter?
And he didn't go further than Manning, they both went to the divisional round with the Broncos. The difference is that Tebow relied on McGahee and the defense to carry him there. Manning actually contributed.

I'm not a hater, but Tebow just doesn't have the throwing ability to be a starting quarterback for a long time. Maybe as a backup, and an emergency starter. The Jets didn't think enough of him to let him start, even though Sanchez was one of the worst quarterbacks in the league.

He is not smart. The guy is stupid when it comes to playing at the speed that an nfl qb needs to be at and by speed i am talking about IQ. He waits to long in the pocket cause he can't figure out the defense and doesn't know how to make quick reads cause he brain doesn't think that way. than he throws a wobbly ball that goes in the dirt. No accuracy and no qb smarts. What makes it worse is that he has this incridible work ethic and desire to be a starting qb and works his tail off at it and we still see no improvement. that is very sad. Tim Tebow is like the QB version of Rudy.

I don't hate tebow I think a team should start him because it is unfair what is happening to him. When given a shot a QB all he did was win. But I do think he needs to improve on throwing the ball I don't care if he improves his mechanics or not just throw better. he skips way to many balls on the ground when reaching his WR. But his leadership cant be matched he can be like ray Lewis and brian dawkins for your team.

One of the most basic rules of the NFL is that if a guy can play then he'll always find work and if her can't then he won't work
It's really that simple
So all you guys who have an ongoing and unrequited bromance w/ Tebow shouldn't be wasting your time here But rather be writing letters and e-mails the GMs and HCs of the NFL and asking them why your boy Timmy is out of work
