The sperm that are boys are faster than the sperm that are girls, if I remember correctly. But the only way to keep them alive and separate them at the same time is in a laboratory. That's pretty expensive.
In some countries, boys are considered superior to girls. Often, in those countries, once the sex of the baby is known to be a girl, they will abort the fetus. This works well, and is cheap, but is pretty crappy to do, most would agree!
I have two boys and a girls. I love them all very much. If your first child is a girl, you will love her very much. So rather than trying to fool mother nature, how about you just love your child, and not worry about whether or not it is a boy or a girl? :)

The only way "normal" way (that is, not assisted using a lab and in-vitro fertilization, etc) I've heard is through planned conception. The woman can have a reasonable guess as to which day she is ovulating by regularly checking her temperature every day at the same time when she wakes up in the morning. A slight temperature higher than her normal (by about 1 degree fahrenheit) signals the day of ovulation. You'll need to record temperatures for at least a couple months to get a decent baseline and to possibly figure out with some degree of accuracy when ovulation occurs. I first learned about this originally for people to try and avoid conception by avoiding sex during this time and for whatever reason did not want to use birth control like condoms or pills. But you can use this to your advantage to intentionally conceive. Sperm with an X chromosome (for female children) tend to swim slower and survive longer. Y sperm that produce male children tend to swim faster but don't survive quite as long. And I'm not entirely sure how absolutely true this is regarding X and Y carrying sperm. My guess is that it isn't absolutely true for all sperm and that some X and Y sperm can both survive a long time, while other X and Y sperm don't. This is hardly scientific (especially with relying on a body temperature to detect ovulation, when temperature can be affected by several factors) and will hardly guarantee any results though. But trying to conceive on or soon after the day of ovulation might have a better chance for male children, while trying a couple days before might increase the chance for female children.
But no. There's no "trick" or sex position or whatever that somehow makes it more likely for male children. Statistically, it's very slightly more likely to be male anyway. Hopefully, you'll love your child regardless of gender.
