GE refrigerator ice maker not working?
GE TFX 20 JR ice maker is not working. It does not get water to the top. Water goes to the water dispenser on the door. I checked the hose to the ice maker and there is no water going to it. I rigged it so that the water would go to that line, but it kept pouring out of the ice maker so i had to undo it- but it made ice afterwards. What do I need to replace?

ok if you can hear it cycle meaning that it goes through the process but isn't putting any water in then it probably the flow solenoid that controls the water that is broke follow the line down the back of the fridge and you'll find a electric switching valve the water line goes in and out of it that's what you need to replace
