You possibly have food at the bottom of the bin or it may also be fr lack ok use and any food left behind rotted try checking the biotin of the bin make sure no food is left behind then try running some vinegar or some tang or a dish washer cleaner through a couple of times see if that helps they now make a dish washer powder cleaner I believe good luck if all else fails talk to someone at your local home center or have a service tech come out but it really sounds like it is stagnent water or just dirty stick a box of baking soda inside and shut the door for the odors

Another possibility.
If you didn't use it for a month, the water in the drain trap might
have dried up letting sewer gas to rise into the washer compartment.
What you smell might just be the left-over gas.
Let it air out.
If you're going to leave it unused for long periods, a cup or so of water
down the drain every week or so should prevent the problem in future.

MIX 1/2 cup AMMONIA in the detergent dispenser and let it run ,do this several times to clean it out good the ammonia will break up any stuck on grease or food
