NEVER BUY USED CPU, Their is a reason they don't allow you to return it for a while
It is $220 on newegg (out of stock). The 3570k is a i5 and a Ivy bridge as well, great for gaming and such...
If your on a budget go with a AMD phenom 965 BE or newer model x6 10xx
even intel core 2 duo are out dated these days
You should have let us know the build purpose, it is harder from determine form CPU the just reading it form you
go with the intel 3220k... it is ivy, a pretty good cpu thought a i3, which is still fine for the $$
It is also unlocked for overclocking
