No, it becomes increasingly more difficult... policing the world... financing nations that envy and hate us... answering the questions of cowards and shiftless leeches of the systems that broke their own nations... etc.

Somehow it's a main idea "sold" by the propaganda carried out by the main media that is "coincidentally" (just it, of course) from the superpower's establishment. ;-)

I don't know how it was in the Roman era or in the British Empire's age, but nowadays it seems highly paradoxical that even in the midst of the Information's age we've lived, the population if the (deemed) ongoing superpower's people can have a so amazing lack of understanding about other countries especially those ones that resist the superpower's influence, so driving some rebuff from the superpower's establishment goodwill to grant them acceptance the way they are. And this ends up feed back the perception of lack of understanding from the super's people. A vicious circle.

Sure, just as it's easy to think you're not part of the machine, when you live in a country sheltered by that power.

It's always funny to listen to Danes or Dutchmen talk about such subjects, when pacifism can only exist in this world when protected by other more violent people.

No superpower in history was liked by foreigners. In my opinion if it wasn't for America ww3 would have already happened.
