Buying a good gaming PC?
I am hoping to buy a new desktop, and I would like to get something that I can game with. I know that building a gaming pc is cheaper and better suited for the task, but I don't have any experience building a pc. Are there any desktops out there that are good for gaming and cost under $1300? I am hoping for something that will run minecraft, Skyrim, dark souls, dark souls II. Also an hdmi out and a blue ray drive would be a plus.

Take a look at this build:

I dont have experience in building PC's but I've been researching for a long time and believe it to be very easy. The mid range build on the link provided is what i recommend for your budget. If you try to buy this computer on Ibuypower.com and other sites like it, you will end up over paying about $300 more. Its about $100 for windows 7 and then you still need a monitor, keyboard and mouse if you dont already have those 3 things. you can down grade the harddrive to 500gb and the gpu to a gtx 660 to save a little more money. You also might want to consider an after market cpu cooler and SSD card for memory.
Source(s): If you really dont want to build your own, do reseach on different computer builds. Google best bang for your buck gaming computers. After you figured out what build you like best plug in the info on sites like ibuypower.com and see how much it would cost. If its over your $1300 then make adjustments........I just went on http://ironsidecomputers.com/ and tried to build you a gaming PC with Specs similar to my build above. The build came up to 1,096.20. The build included an i5 3570k, a WD caviar blue harddrive 500 gb. 8gb corsair vengence, nvidia gtx 660 gpu, Corsair CX600 power supply ( thats 600 watts) a cooler master cpu cooler hyper 212, and a motherboard that im not to sure about. you might want to pick your own mother board after some research. It also included widows 7 and a dvd writer that you might want to upgrade to a blue ray. All thats missing is a keyboard, mice and monitor. - 8 years ago
Better than CyberPower or Ibuypower, plus their customer service is amazing.
