Which blood vessel is biggest: Artery or vein?
I know that the walls of the arteries are thicker, and that the walls of the veins are thinner, but apparently in total diameter they can be up to 25 mm. Does anyone know a trustworthy reference stating otherwise? This would help a lot! Thank you.

Hey there,
There no thing as such as biggest blood vessel,
The only difference between artery and vein is diameter of LUMEN..
but for your satisfaction, the biggest artery is aorta and the biggest vein is sephenous vein..
