If there was a civil war between Democrats and Republicans, which side would see more international volunteers?

As an Australian I would be the first at our airports to insist refugee Americans trying to get in were sent straight back.

I suppose that would help both sides.

Probably democrats, I'm mostly basing this off of our last civil war, although there was no democratic party at the time, most senators and statesmen that sided with the confederacy later founded or joined the democratic party, and during our civil war the Confederate sates gathered far more support from foreign powers like Span and France, although it was mostly delivered too late and through intermediate parties.

I believe the largest source of volunteers would come from all the countries that we kicked the **** out of over the past two centuries who want to see the US totally destroyed.

Either way it will never come to a civil war with clear cut Democrats vs Republicans, since neither political party controls an independent military or paramilitary force (our military is sworn to the constitution rather to any political office), the next civil war in the United States will be when the first president refuses to leave office at the end of his term and attempts to retain control by force.

If a civil war were to break out between Democrats and Republicans, the rest of the world would sit back and watch with great amusement.

We had a civil war once, nobody helped. I would say dems since most of Europe and Canada are liberal, and since democrats are in power it makes those chances higher. Republicans are kind of dieng out, too me republicans and democrats are pretty stupid and illogical about their descisions. Nothing I can do about it

I don't think that we would see many international volunteers. The Democrats wouldn't need them and the Republicans wouldn't accept them.

it already befell the repubs received in 1865. basically in case u did not understand the north replaced into the repub side and the south were libs. again in 1800's the demicrate celebration replaced into for state excellent's (the south) and the repub's were for nationwide rights (the north) lincon replaced right into a repub. hence the repubs received. no if u r preserving wt if it befell now then certain the south may be the repubs and the north could be lib's. yet again then the lib celebration replaced into wt the repub celebration is in the present day and vise-vers-a

Neither, with all Americans pillaging, shooting and killing each other in their own country. At least the rest of the world and the people in it, could finally relax and be living in peace.

Republicans, Military, & Independent's that support Gun ownership would win. Obviously.

This would be nice hopefully they take each other out and we can have a real party devoted to FREEDOM.
