How do you differentiate?

Between a governess and a friend having live-in relationship?What are their legal standing and rights?

    Hi,

    In India there is no legal status for live-in relationship. So no rights also.

    It's a Just relation with mutual understanding , nothing else.

    As per latest law If you live more than 5 -7 years together only then some rights are given to female.
