My on again off again girlfriend was cheated on and then divorced by her husband. She was and is devastated but did begin a friendship with me. We have not had sex but have come close and now she is pulling away and wants to be just friends again. This has happened several times. Why is she doing this and how can I get her to understand that I am not her ex?

Just say what u mean prove it to her and if u say something fallow through with it. It happened to me with my first ex it makes it hard for us to see the difference at first there really isn't much u can do just keep trying
