Wales F.A. breaching Human Rights?
Why are Welsh youngsters not allowed to sign for English football teams unless they live within a certain distance from the designated club ?
For example a youngster aged 14 cannot sign for Liverpool or Everton if he lives in Anglesey or Mid Wales yet it's OK if he lives in Flint or Holywell.............crazy !
Surely this archaic ruling is against European Freedom of Movement and Human Rights.......or am I missing something ?
Please disregard the above because Flint and Holywell are within the 50 miles radius, they were just examples.
This is how it works : Youngsters from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are only allowed to sign and travel to a football team within a 50 miles radius of their home, yet this rule does not apply in England. An English youngster can travel from Southampton to Newcastle or Aberdeen and still be able to sign for that club.

The question is about the unfairness of the ruling and is it in line with European Rights
Poor old Mr Giggs and Bale could well chuckle at your (hopefully) tongue in cheek reply

My dear chap,
When one plays a game one plays by the rules and if the rules are as you say you abide by them. Any self respecting Welshman would not want to be tainted by playing for an English team. Any how old chap hope the event never occurs for you as you do not know how to keep a stiff upper lip.

What happens if a match is on and someone has broken their leg and they need to phone the Welsh child to come in? If he is god knows how long away who will play for them in the match? Plus you don't just play for a team that isn't in your local area...
