  • Camerons mob + NHS dissolution?

It looks like the Conservatives are hell bent on getting into bed (excuse the pun) with US health service providers.

Looks like a whole load of Conservative MP''s will have their snouts in the trough of the US company shares.

Is there any way of finding out if these toffs have shares ?

  • Planning Consent required to fleece shoppers ? - UK only?

When a supermarket is built are there conditions relating to the parking of vehicles on the car park ?

If so, would the supermarket be required to ask for planning consent to employ "private companies" to oversee the parking of vehicles and impose "Penalty Charges" ?

  • Mc Donalds - £100 parking fine?

A recent TV program here in the UK brought news of a family of five being charged £100 for staying in the Mc Donalds car park for 1 hour and 11 minutes.

This is despite the fact that the family were actually in Mc Donalds and spending quite a bit of money.

McDonalds employ a car parking company to scan vehicle number plates and to impose a fine through the post if their customers have overstayed !

Kind of wonder if McDonalds employ this tactic in the USA / Canada or any other countries.

  • Wales F.A. breaching Human Rights?

Why are Welsh youngsters not allowed to sign for English football teams unless they live within a certain distance from the designated club ?

For example a youngster aged 14 cannot sign for Liverpool or Everton if he lives in Anglesey or Mid Wales yet it's OK if he lives in Flint or Holywell.............crazy !

Surely this archaic ruling is against European Freedom of Movement and Human Rights.......or am I missing something ?

  • Royal Mail - Recorded Delivery?

I recently sent a fairly small package by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery and it cost £6.10p.

The counter assistant said if the parcel had been slightly smaller I'd have saved a few pounds, but as the parcel would not fit through their template letter box I had to pay extra.

I explained that a Recorded Delivery item isn't put through a letter box, it is handed to the recipient and it's signed for, so what has the letter box "penalty" got to do with it ?

The assistant was quite baffled and kept on saying it won't fit through the opening.

Seems to me Royal Mail are pulling a fast one here....your thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

It seems this Coaliton wants "more research" into our diminishing bee and insect stocks before they ban certain pesticides from our shores.

  • Scammed by Sky - or something more sinister ?

Has a quick and late look at my bank statement today and to my horror I found that Sky ( or some other party) had extracted £134.50 under the pretext of a Sky Subscription and with a phone number of 08702 404040 as collection details.

My payments to Sky have always been by Direct Debit and there has never been a problem, and I have not received or ever asked for any upgrades so this unexpected payment was queried.

I phoned the 08702 404040 number and was told Sky don't use this number any longer and was redirected to Sky 08442 41 41 41.

After talking to the rep I was told that Sky have no knowledge of this payment.

Question :- Is this a scam by others and have any other subscbribers had this happen ?
