Is there an on-line petition for this government to ban pesticides to save bees ?

It seems this Coaliton wants "more research" into our diminishing bee and insect stocks before they ban certain pesticides from our shores.

The future of our food production is at stake as these blithering clowns await a decision from the chemical companies...........

Good question! Hopefully this government will wake up and DO something about the problem of diminishing bees which mankind needs to pollinate food.

David, your answer is false and ridiculous. Bees are not evil and do not kill people unless they are allergic to the venom. Bees actually die when they sting and only do so when provoked!

Not that I know of, but there should be. But don't you think it's very kind of the Coalition to give those causing the problems, the opportunity to deny they are causing the problems?

In truth the world and his mother has known of the devastation of bee colonies worldwide for years, and of the millions already spent on research and reports, and the many recommendations produced by the reports.

Every time I hear the government say we need more time for research and/or information, the more I see a government not wanting to spend the money on solutions until it is too damned late.

I don't know of any but I've known about this problem for years now. First the whispers, then the dialogue and now the full blown debate.

If there is a petition to sign I'd like to know where it is. I'd put this old dog's name on it fast as a bee sting.

they think it also has to do with electronic interference from mobile phone towers, they are still researching this

i can't remember the figure - but bees are responsible for something like 80% of pollination - so no bees - no food - simple as that

EDIT: pesticides in the food chain are bad - our farm is organic...

i individually have faith that it is somebody expressing themselves in a fashion that on an analogous time as i could no longer approve of is in the US secure by unfastened speech. phrases are procedures. Like a hammer can build a house, injury a thumb or crack a cranium. in spite of the fact that it is not the fault of the hammer. the comparable with rap music, it is an paintings style. paintings has been used to inspire, polarize, incite and degrade. That being mentioned i individually discover maximum rap music it sexist, racist, selfish and bigoted. It often preys on the dissatisfaction and frustrations that many sense against perceived injustice to learn a dollar. yet in spite of the fact that particular the inducement for commercial pastime is to learn a dollar. you want a ban on rap music? Then what's next in the Bible there is swearing, violence, nudity and all forms of issues. in case you HATE some thing this is positive yet do no longer make greater regulations that our 'honest' government will implement. i'm decrease than the non-public opinion that we would desire to end based on the government to babysit our young ones and ourselves and say whats up i do in comparison to this so i'm no longer likely to hearken to. particularly than giving up further and extra of our freedoms to no longer be inconvienced.

I hope not. Bees are evil. They sting and kill innocent people.
