How can I show everyone not to mess with me?
I have begun to realize that people are talking behind my back and snickering at things I say. They're the wannabes who think they're cool. I'm not like the queen bee of anything but I just want to show people that they're so not cool talking and snickering about things people say. I also really just want them to shut up and realize that just because they don't understand some of my vocabulary (I like to use sophisticated words to convey my point and they don't know the words because they're the people that don't try at school) that they aren't allowed to talk to people like that. Even when I tell them to stop and that they shouldn't be snickering because it's rude they just laugh and then when I say it's rude to laugh they continue to laugh and say "Not everything is about you, you're not the center of attention" but I really know they're talking about me. Please help??!

Best thing you can do is ignore them. They're trying to get a reaction out of you, so don't give them one.

Be the stronger, more intelligent person...
They sound really immature and a bit stupid, so maybe you should look elsewhere for friends...but if that is not realistic...just roll your eyes at them and ignore it - if they really are saying things about you behind your back they are not very nice people any way....
I mean, you could always just say stuff about the 'ring leader' behind his/her back and see how they like it!

Try to determine who the perpetrator of all these rumors is. It will probably be some short guy with a small penis who is making up for it by running his mouth.
Then you need to beat the heck out of that guy. Then it won't happen no more.

Realize first you do have an attitude. You said it in your question ... you judged yhem, so they're judging you.. so if you want to continue to stand out and use big words, then grow some thick skin. Otherwise, be smart about when its appropriate to use the big words.

Maybe they aren't really talking about you...but, whatever. The best thing to do is just ignore them. Someone gives you sh*t, then tell them to f*ck off. Ignoring them is like the biggest F you. Punching them doesn't hurt either...

I'd say something really cutting like 'Just because you're too stupid to understand what I'm saying doesn't mean you have to be nasty about it.' You seem like you're too nice and people will take advantage of that, you need to put them in their place.

Get into a fight with someone you know you can beat. They won't mess with you after that,
