Can you bring this on an airplane?
A friend of mine is flying home to China on Friday and I will most likely never see her again. I've been shopping for a gift for her; which has been hard since everything we have is made in China. I finally found something though. I'm hoping to get her a Yankee Scented Candle (Made in the USA). Can this be brought on an airplane? I don't see why not but I just want to make sure.
Thank you.

YES!
Only possible concern would be customs in China... but I would not think it would be an issue.

Check or Carry-on
You may transport this item in carry-on baggage or in checked baggage. For items you wish to carry-on, you should check with the airline to ensure that the item will fit in the overhead bin or underneath the seat of the airplane.
Please be sure to wrap cords tightly around electronics items and pack your bag in neat layers (layer of clothes, layer of electronics, layer of clothes, layer of shoes, etc.) to help officers get a clear look at your bag.
Even if an item is generally permitted, it may be subject to additional screening or not allowed through the checkpoint if it triggers an alarm during the screening process, appears to have been tampered with, or poses other security concerns. The final decision rests with TSA on whether to allow any items on the plane.

That depends upon the length of your flight. I might restrict bringing electronics on since you do not get so much time to make use of them between takeoff and touchdown. As an alternative, bring a excellent book or journal to read. It beats simply sitting there and staring behind any individual elses head. Also, gown in layers. The cabin tends to be relatively stuffy before taking off but cools down alot when you get in the air. Prevent taking a bulky raise-on, pillow or coat with you...It is going to simply get on your manner on a cramped plane. Additionally, deliver plenty of gum to chew so your ears won't pop as so much. Don't bring snacks or drinks from outside the airport though, they are going to be confiscated at protection.
