Twilight saga addiction budding?

My sister just got done going through a "Twilight Saga Addiction" and I think the books sound cool. But when she was reading she got kind of depressed. And bought the Breaking Dawn Sound track but that has the most depressing-est music! But i'm starting to listen to it. And i'm reading the books. They are addicting! haylp.

Okay, here's the thing, after you finish the Twilight books, read another novel (perhaps something more adult-aimed), compare and then see how horribly written Twilight is. Also, come to think about how a young girl ditches her friends, family, gives up her future all for a dead guy 100 times her age who stalks her and makes funny faces after they kiss. Then you may not be such a Twilight addict anymore.

I am obsessed with the Twilight saga! I own and have read all of the books and I own and have seen all of the movies! Stephenie Meyer is "rolling in the dough" from the Twilight franchise, she did such a wonderful job! I am literally addicted and I was very saddened to see the journey of Edward and Bella end in Breaking Dawn (the end of the book and part 2 in regard to the movies). Honestly, I really think it would be VERY cool if Stephenie Meyer wrote a book on the budding relationship between Jacob, the werewolf and Renesmee, Bella and Edward's daughter!! That would SO be a book I would purchase and read through like a mad woman!! :) ((HUGE apologies if I may have just spoiled things for you, since you are reading the books, and you may have not gotten that far yet!! I'm sorry if I did!!)) Anyway, in my opinion, don't pay attention to some of these other answers some of these other individuals have provided. I think you are basically just becoming like any other Twilight fan in the world, you just really love it! I think it is amazing the age-range that the Twilight franchise has accumulated - people my age in their late-20's, to much younger than me, to much older than me! Don't get me wrong, I was very skeptical 4 years ago when I kept thinking about reading Twilight, however, I finally bit the bullet, borrowed the book, read it, and I've been a HUGE fan ever since! :) Do enjoy the books and the movies too! I know I definitely do!! :)

Source(s): HUGE Twilight fan, not necessarily a "Twi-hard" but a BIG Twilight fan in general!

keep the addiction alive, by reading and writing twilight fan-fiction....never has to end. and look at twilight fan-fictions that are being turned into movies like 50 shades of grey for the older people.

Beautiful Bastard, another novel derived from a popular piece of Twilight fan

    fiction.

Don't listen to other people's opinions. Read the books for yourself and then see if you like them or not. If you end up hating it, then that's your opinion. If you end up loving it then become a Twi-hard and be proud of it!

Read the books if you want, but DO NOT watch the movies! The movies stink. Eclipse was the best, but it still wasn't good. Kristen Stewart should not have been Bella. The movies never should have been made, really. I feel for Anna Kendrick, she is so much better than her small role as Jessica!

I really didn't like the movies much.
