Why is this god crap on our license plates, dollar bills, and national anthem?

Specifically to anger you.
Or it could be that meaningless crap like words placed on the money, does not fall under rights, but is more for aesthetic purposes and thus falls under the aesthetics of the majority. The overwhelming majority are theists. Note, for example, that no one can be compelled to say the national anthem. Further, even if you do and don't say "under god", no one will notice or care.
Do you think by seeing God printed somewhere, somehow you are going to be brainwashed into believing in God?
Also, you should note that the dollar is made by the Federal reserve, which is not a part of the government.
Note, for example, that the bald eagle is used as our national bird, even though Ben Franklin wanted to use the turkey.
Of course, all of this was to combat the Red scare. The communists were all atheist, and the people making the decisions at the time, thought that making that distinction between the majority of people's belief within the two nations was important.

"In God we trust" and "Under God" as appear on paper currency is surely laughable since there is huge national debt, huge sub prime debt, weak dollar, trillions wasted on war that will take decades to repay and 46 MILLION Americans living below the poverty line!
Surely that trust was grossly misplaced?!

They were the principles by which our nation was founded upon. I don't buy it either, but i live with it.
