First of all love is not blind. Love is called blind because it accepts all the weakness of the person and others take it as ignorance or madness in love.
Yes, mother loves her child even before seeing its face. Mother loves even her ugliest child, but this doesn't mean that she is ignorant about his/her weakness. She knows weak and strong points of her child and she always stand as a support. Her love is unconditional.

Never. Unconditional love is a love that will always love the same, no matter what. Instead of turning a blind eye to problems or circumstances, it prefers to be patient and understanding, and continue loving no matter what. Unconditional love cannot be earned or lost. Blind love does not exist, because a blind love would require the bestower to love in adversity by looking the other way instead of embracing the problem and working through it, loving the same all the while, which never lasts. Unconditional love is a love that endures forever.

"Those with eyes to see, let them see..." All love that is pure is blind to the spoils of life. This is what makes it blind, naive, unconditional and unwavering. Only when it has seen and felt enough pain, does it release us from it's bondage. Free to love again...

The highest form of love is unconditional love which is never blind.
The lowest form of love is called parasitic love in which you take and take but rarely give is supposed to be blind.
A sado-masochistic love in which a person wants to own and possess a person, is blind parasitic love.

Light never creates anything, it only measuredly reveals what is forever concealed in the immeasurable unseen. So, the only time we do not need light is when we are certain that there is nothing sinister in the dark both towards the microscopic and telescopic endlessness of the cosmos. No amount of secondary evidence can overturn a conviction founded on this primary truth. Beyond the limits of light and sight, love thrives in this certainty. There is no problem, because there can be no problem. Only a person endowed with such unmeasured clarity is capable of the fearless unconditionality of true love.

Love simply is an emotion which is above all rules, norms, laws of the society.Hence it is obvious that it over rides every thing blindly and defies every thing. It confronts the man made fabric of social behaviour like a blind person.
Therefore love is deemed to be blind.

love happens or borns from feelings and the feelings comes out from the heart. And the heart has no eyes then i would say that this is the reason why love is blind

Once all feelings and human virtues gathered at the same place. When Boredom was bored enough, Craziness suggested “Do you want to play bo-peep?” Intrigue was quite interested and Curiosity asked impatiently “Bo-peep!! What is this game about?” Craziness explained to it “This is a game, in which I close my eyes and start counting from one to a million while you are hiding. When I stop counting the first of you, who I find will replace me so that the game will go on.” Enthusiasm agreed to play at once, followed by Euphoria. Joy was so joyful that it persuaded Doubt and Apathy to play. However, not all wanted to play. Truth preferred not to hide, after all it is always revealed. Haughtiness said that this is a stupid game but it was actually irritated that it was not its idea for playing this game.
Craziness started counting. The first who hid was Laziness and as always it hid behind the first stone it found. Faith hid in the sky. Envy hid in the shadow of Triumph, who managed to climb the top of the highest tree by its own. Generosity almost could not hide because every place it found looked so nice shelter for its friends: a crystal lake is perfect for Beauty; a tree crown is a perfect place for Fear; a butterfly flight is the best shelter for Voluptuousness; a wind impulse is the perfect place for Freedom, so at the end Generosity hid in a sun ray. From the beginning Selfishness found a very good place, fresh and comfortable, exactly for it. Lie hid in the bottom of the ocean but actually it was behind the rainbow. Passion and Desire hid in the centre of volcanoes. Oblivion, I forgot where it hid. Anyway, it is not that important.
When Craziness counted 999 999 Love was still searching for a place to hide. All places were already occupied. At the end Love saw a rose bush and decided to hide amongst its flowers. Craziness counted one million and started searching. The first who appeared was Laziness just a step away from Craziness. Then Craziness found Faith, who was talking to God in sky. Passion and Desire were felt in the vibrations of volcanoes. Envy was found and of course Triumph was also there. There was no need to search for Selfishness; it went out on its own because it was desperate from its shelter which turned out to be bad. Craziness got tired from the search and felt thirsty. It went to the lake where it found Beauty. Doubt was sitting on a rock; it was still hesitating where to hide. Talent was found among the fresh grass; Grief was found in a dark cave; Lie was found behind the rainbow and Oblivion had already forgotten about the game. Love was absent. Craziness searched for it everywhere, behind every stone, every tree, in every spring, in every mountain peak... When it was about to give up it saw a rose bush. It grabbed a pitchfork and searched the bush. Suddenly it heard a painful scream. The thorns of the rose hurt the eyes of Love. Craziness didn’t know what to do; it cried and begged for forgiveness. Then Craziness promised to be Love’s guide. Since then Love is blind and Craziness is always with it.
