Who is the darkhorse?

Ok speaking from an unbiased perspective, who do you feel will be the darkhorse, or breakout team, this coming season?

darkhorse - Lions. comming from a 4 win season last season t hey under achieved. But this year they seem of have upgraded on their offence significantly with the draft of a lineman in the 3rd round and bringing in a running game through free agency to compliment the already stout lions passing game. and on the defencive side of the ball they did lose vandenbosh and aviril but in the first round they picked up ansah so they still have some depth at D line but still they aren't that great yet but hopefully Reggie Bush and Leshore will be able to keep that offence on the field longer so the defence can stay fresh and not be on the field too long to show their short commings

the contender that will fall off i'd have to say will be the redskins. RG3 won't be as effective probably get injured again, defences will figure out kirk cousins easily. NFC east will be wide open this year but no wild card will come from the nfc east this year

Well, about every year now for almost the last 20 years, at least 4 different/new teams make the playoffs, depending on how things fall, I could see Kansas City, Oakland, Detroit, St. Louis, or Miami making a push to at least contend for a playoff berth.

BQ: I think a couple will take a step or 2 backwards, Indianapolis, Washington, and Minnesota I could see falling to 7-9 or 8-8 and miss the playoffs.

Kansas City, not because of Smith. Personally I think Alex Smith is just an average QB. But the Defense will be stout considering all the additions in the offseason. Charles and Bowe are great and Andy Reid will be fine. Not saying they will over take Denver, but they are my team for the playoffs.

Team that falls will be Washington. Not completely sold on the team. Yes they get Orakapo back and their front 7 is good, but they will fail against the pass. I am not sold on RG3, great season last season and I will not deny that, but no help with the WR's and if teams will figure out the zone block scheme and Morris will not be as productive as last season.

Keep an eye on the Eagles. I don't know if the NFC East is ready for what they're going to bring this year. I can almost guarantee it but I don't know if they can overcome the Vick karma.
