As the question says, I am looking for a grand strategy game to sink my life into as one does.

Games I have played that count toward this would be:

Civ 6

Total War Attila, Rome2 , and Shogun 2

Supreme Ruler

Overall I like Total War, but strangely enough I do not much care for the battles. I tend to sim through them. As you can imagine, a Total War game without battles is a little on the underwhelming side.

I am starting to watch soccer more because I overall love sports, but coming from American football and basketball, which have pretty lenient substitution rules, to soccer, i was wondering why the sport is so strict with substitutions. With a game that requires so much running, is there a reason why they don t substitute like basketball and document minutes?

It should be set up so that conferences actually mean something. There are 10 conferences so Conference champion should go on to the playoffs with 6 wild card spots, or break up bigger conferences to get 16 conferences. This is how I think it should be set up. Enough of the conference bias when conference is completely irrelevant. Don't believe me? Last year:

(I don't watch college ball but it feels like the SEC is the only conference that ever really gets the massive amount of stroking/hate towards it.)
