I am the first counsler in the bishopric?
I am working hard to become bishop in my ward. I wouldn't abuse the power. I think being a great Mormon means moderation in all things including abusing my power. I can promise you this if i am bishop and eventually prophet ( as my five year plan suggests) we will have funeral potatoes every Sunday served with the sacrament. However, to make my dream come true please pray that I get over my addiction to this work out

Being a Bishop is something that a Latter Day Saint
is called to do, not something that you campaign for.
If you were a Latter Day Saint
you would know that obvious fact.
Mormons give more money to charity than any other group of people in the world
and no other group of people in the world is even in the same ballpark,
according to income tax returns.
This is why you hate Mormons and spread hate against Mormons...
because according to Anti-Mormons there is absolutely positively nothing
worse than giving to charity. Nothing.

In the LDS Church we don't aspire for leadership, we are called by others to fulfill a volunteer position. We are not elected, nor are we paid for these positions, we simply serve voluntarily. I highly doubt that you are working hard to become a Bishop or the Prophet, these type of people are not generally asked to serve in such positions, because it's pretty apparent that they are only after self aggrandizement.
The Apostles asked one time who would be greatest in Jesus' kingdom.
Matt 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Prophet? No, sorry, that ended with the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets.

Bishops in the LDS church are called of God, by revelation. If he trusts you, then so do I.
