Latin words for a new spieces of owl?
Please write how to spell Pygmy Great Horned Owl and Great Pygmy Horned Owl using Latin so I can see which looks better. Thx
I was thinking of Minerva Invictus as a candidate. Species was what I meant to write. Pardon me.

My Latin is non-existent, but as it would be a subspecies of the Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus) the name would probably be "Bubo virginianus <something>".
"Bubo virginianus microstrigis" would be fun (microstrigis = "tiny owl") - but looking at the naming of other subspecies, the third element of the name is far more likely to be regional, relating to where it's found.

word order is irrelevant in Latin.
