Are funeral church services free?
I know you have to pay so much for the plot of land/cremation of the deceased, but what about the dedicated church service? Is that free?

You have to pay the funeral home even if you have the actual funeral in a church. They do the organizing regardless of where it is. My church does not charge a member for use of the church. Volunteers of the church bring dishes to the church for the family and there's no charge for that. If the pastor charges a fee to preach the sermon, it would be minimal. I'm not sure if they even charge a fee for members of their church.

Depends on the church. Some might offer a simple service for free. Some might just charge the cost of labor and stuff like flowers. Some might charge just as much as a funeral home. It will be different from church to church. You will have to ask them.

the use of a church from which the decedent was a member for burial services is free. sometimes when a decedent does not have a church family, another church will allow services for the person out of respect, but no church ever charges a fee for it.

Why don't you try donating real estate so we can make burials free. Also, donate your time and tools to temple repairs so you have a roof for the funeral location. Bring your shovel and start digging. Nobody is going to do it for you, at least not for free.
