  • Can I refreeze beef mince?

So I took mince out to defrost by leaving it on the counter, and now decided I don t really want it. However, if I made burgers with them without cooking them, can they be frozen again whilst prepared?

  • Can you get anti-depressants from the hospital?

I understand it's best to get them prescribed from your GP, but that isn't an option for me based on me living away from my registered practice. Without having to re-register up here, is there any way I can get anti-depressants, say from the local hospital?

  • Should I be being emergency taxed?

Okay, so I'm a student. In my last job I was paid off the books, cash in hand, so i can't exactly hand in a P45 to my current employer, because as far as anyone is concerned, I've never worked before.

But this new job, I'm on £6.50 an hour. In my first week, I worked 23 hours, and was due £149.50, however only earned £118. Last week I worked 14 hours. I was due £91, but only earned £68. My brother seems to think it's emergency tax, but my employer is that useless she won't even email me out a payslip, so I have no idea if it is emergency tax, but if it is, should I legally be paying this, and also, more importantly, how can I claim this back?

  • Can someone please put this in layman s terms for me?

Roy has been running a local toy store for the last 35 years. He has been selling toy fire engines which he imported from France. These were made by a family run business in France, which is no longer operating. Roy still has a stock of 100 of these engines which were in compliance with Directive 88/378/EEC but he has no technical drawings and they are not marked with the European toy safety standard. Roy was told on January 10th 2010 by the local Trading Standards officer that he could no longer sell these toys from January 2010 onwards. Roy was told that this was on the basis of Directive 2009/48/EC (The Safety of Toys) which Member States were required to comply with by 20th January 2011. A UK Statutory instrument complying with the Directive was introduced in 2011 and came into force on the 19th of August 2011 (Consumer Protection: The Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 (No. 1881).

  • Passport trouble, urgent. Please help?

So, I got my passport renewed recently, through the post office, and I was given a receipt for it, but for the life of me I cannot remember what I've done with it... And apparently it's the only proof that my passport has been sent away to get renewed... And if I don't get my passport soon I'm pretty f**ked... Is there any way if I have to enquire and don't have the reference number, that the post office might have it?

  • Can someone tell me if this is a good and efficient workout?

Okay, so I've gotten into going to the gym a lot, and I have very limited knowledge on particular workouts and stuff. This is my current workout:

    Stretching

    20 Minute run

    Stretching

    Tricep bar exercise, 20kg (3x10)

5 minute run (1 minute walk between each set)

    Stretching

    Tricep pull downs 30kg (3x12)

5 minute run (1 minute walk between each set)

    Stretching

Bicep curls with dumbbells, 10kg each hand (3x12)

5 minute run (1 minute walk between each set)

    Stretching

    Bench press, 40kg (3x10)

5 minute run (1 minute walk between each set)

    Stretching

    Squats, 45kg

5 minute run (1 minute walk between each set)

    Stretching

The weights I use are heavy enough for me, like I don't struggle too much, but don't think I could move on, and I do get tired from them, which I'm led to believe is a good sign.

My aim is to basically lose excess body fat while building a good muscle tone. Just more to lean out really. Is this a good workout for that?

I know you have to pay so much for the plot of land/cremation of the deceased, but what about the dedicated church service? Is that free?
