Nicknames for Abigail?
I dislike the nickname abby.
Don't give me stupid things like abster, or ab.
I need a real nickname that's better than abby but not TOO stretchy.
DON"T say gail.
If you could suggest anything, thanks :) I've heard of some abigails going by aila, (abigAIL), but is there anything else? And do you like that one?
thanks :)

Just call her Abigail or give her another name and if this is your name go by your middle name.

My actual first name is Abigail, I hate it so much I no longer use it, but I was always called Abbey or Abz, if you don't like the nicknames, don't inflict it on your child.
If it's your name, go by your middle.

Bailey? It's a stretchy, but you're taking the b from the beginning of the name to the -ail and just adding the -y sound, which is pretty common in nicknames.
Iggy probably sounds really stupid, but it popped into my head, so I thought I'd share it. Aila is okay.

There's really only two nicknames that work for Abigail...
Abi, and Gail. Duh.
If you want to go weird and creative, I guess you could use Gia or Lib, from just randomly stealing letters.
