I need ebay help asap! being harassed by a buyer!!!?
Ok so I breed and sell pink ramshorn snails on ebay. I have sold 22 different orders all successfully. None have died and everyone has been extremely happy with them. When I ship them I provide the buyer with a tracking number so they know when to expect them.
They buyer bought 5 but I always give 3 extra. He decided to go on a 4 day weekend knowing the snails would be delivered and sitting in his mailbox in florida in the heat for 3 days. So when he got them he sent me a pic of 5 snails, 3 dead and 2 alive. But he did NOT show the extra 3 I sent so I know they are alive. He is requesting a full refund plus keep the snails. He opened a case and I explained to ebay everything I just did in this message. Do you think they will side with him?
He has been nasty and sending me nasty emails. The last one was:

Subject: Hello
Hey ya dumb lying *****. I told ya I would win...Wait till monday dumbass!!
I forwarded it to ebay, I just really don't want this jerk to end up with the snails he ordered for free.
Anyone have experience with this??
Yes but then the poor snails would die too! lol
I have made sure to be respectful in the emails even when I didn't want to be. I'm just hoping they favor with me. I know if I was expecting live fish on friday, I wouldn't leave and then attack the seller bc some died when I finally got to them monday. Like I told him, I would have waited until he got back to ship them or he could have had someone else pick them up if he couldnt

I have experience with a Nigerian scam, (never ship there) give him the worst feedback possible, (idk if sellers can leave feedback) it's his fault, play nice because that always pays off. Expect a long wait. Also, call eBay and explain everything, they should help. Report him more than once, and be nice to him, don't insult, or be mean. Good luck!

Tabitha, you're violating eBay policy by identifying the buyer publicly. You need to delete this question and post it again without either of your e-mail addresses before someone tells Charlie about it and he reports you to eBay and gets your account suspended.
To answer your question, first thing always is to block the buyer if you haven't already.
eBay almost always sides with the buyer. In most cases, eBay asks the buyer to return the item for a refund. In this case you're dealing with living creatures that are already stressed and would not survive the return trip, so it's pointless. I would just apologize and refund.
If snail sellers are a tight-knit community, share his eBay user ID privately with them so they can add him to their BBLs as well.
